- September 27th 2007: The Philadelphia Police Boat Team
embarked on its 5th annual Memorial Row.
- The team - made up of police, members of the district attorney's office
and the Camden County Prosecutor's Office - will row for eight hours
and 140 miles, from Delaware and Washington avenues to 5th and New York
Avenue in North Wildwood. The row is in honor of fallen law enforcement
members.
- June 13th 2007: The Philadelphia Police Boat Team sponsored
the memorial plaque for Philadelphia Police Detective John Cousin #958. PR

- August 17th 2006 Philadelphia Police Boat Team Memorial run:
- The team paddled in a 6 person outrigger canoe for the 140 mile
trip.
There were 3 teams of paddlers rotated through out the trip which
kept the canoe moving continuously until arrival. The paddlers were
made
up of officers from the Philadelphia Police Department, Philadelphia
District Attorney’s Office, and the Camden County Prosecutor’s
Office.
This row is done to honor the fallen members of law enforcement and to
bring honor and show gratitude to their families. The team paddled
with a memorial wreath and delivered it to the Mid Atlantic Law
Enforcement Survivors Weekend’s Candle light vigil at 2nd and
the Beach
(North Wildwood).
- Six of our team members had an amazing experience representing
not only the Philadelphia Police Boat Team but the United States at the
Protective
Services International Dragon Boat Festival in Tianjin, China.
